Coastal Bedroom Ideas

I often get asked how I would describe my style.  And while it is certainly a blend, coastal is most definitely one of them and a style I always gravitate towards.  I partnered with Walmart to add some easy and affordable coastal updates to our guest bedroom and then also wanted to share a mood board of coastal goodies to give you some ideas for your own home.

Walmart home made it really easy to update this room with the option to shop by style.  A quick pillow swap of these fun fringed blue pillows (less than $13 each!) and a tassel throw reminiscent of the beach instantly warmed up our guest bedroom. (Tip: Add some seasonal faux greenery such as palm leaves to enhance that coastal vibe).

If you’ve been looking to do a larger makeover and that beachy vibe speaks to your style, here is a mood board of affordable Walmart finds that will achieve just that.  I am head over heels for this nightstand here and making a mental note to use it in my next project.  (Tip: Adding in some textures (with jute poufs or rugs) is a great way to ground this nautical style).

Shopping online at Walmart home was also really convenient.  I ordered my pillows online and did free in-store pickup, and then the throw shipped free straight to my home since there is free delivery on $35+ for eligible orders.  Done and done.
